I should have felt powerful. I should have felt important. But looking out on a sea of people-my people- I had never felt smaller. Who was I? I was just a girl, one who now held the fate of millions in her hand. I didnt feel like a queen, I felt like a frightened little mouse who had somehow become the greatest of all the little mice- and I didnt deserve it. They told me to keep my head up, and I did to keep them happy. The last thing I wanted was to look down on my people.
