... 'cos I am not one I just live here (or stay here as they say hereabouts) ... Hogmanay combined with New Years Day is so thoroughly celebrated that we have two day's public holiday in Scotland instead of the one the rest of the UK enjoy for New Year.
I however am sitting here painting instead of partying since I have some lingering lurgy and feel like I was trampled by elephants for the past 24 hours
... no that is not another arcane Scottish New Year custom although this year has been cold enough for woolly mammoth ... well that is my excuse for having fun on Queeky anyway!
