Photo Guide?!

How do I get there?!
I cannot for the life of me, find it in Queeky Paint.
Someone please explain to me where it is and how to find it.
Thank you!

Here's how ...

- Open the canvas

- Tap the U key on your keyboard

- A small box will appear with a central dot and four arrows to help you position the photo where you want it.

- There is also a small slider so you can have the photo at anything from 0% to 100% transparency

* I use it about 30% to block in darks,

* 100% to get colour references; and

* otherwise leave it set at 0%

- The final choice is whether you have it set to "top" or "bottom" - I haven't really tried this so don't know the difference, but obviously some folk do find differences.

- When you save the queeky pic the photo is removed.

Three tips from me:

(1) take all your colour references before you save - the palette will remember them and they will be back when you next open the picture

(2) If you draw in any lines/shapes from the photo put them on a separate layer - easier to erase later and encourages you to draw freehand with the photo as a guide.

(3) If you rely heavily on the photo to do a picture, try immediately to draw it again without the photo ... this way you learn to create pictures from using it rather than simply learning to 'trace'
