yes, they detected tha background was overpainted with black color using infrared.

shure it was da Vinci who did the original, but I am pretty amazed of the copy, it's an awesome detailled work! maybe better than the original Glasses

I agree.

He did a great job on this. And I see the additional things that he added. This is just like the amazing covered music with the new solo, in my opinion. Smile

But I still love the proportion of the face and the luminous of her skin of da Vinci's painting.

Interesting. I've seen a documentary about the result of the observation on Monalisa using infrared. Please see the details in the Internet because I might provide you the wrong information. Tongue The infrared let us see the painting underneath the final result of Monalisa. There are so many thing going on the painting before the completion. I think Da Vinci is the original, I guess. Tongue Could carbon14 dating help? OK I'm leaving with my shallow thought.. Big smile
