I was written off in Art at school as being unable to draw ... I have crafted things all my life - photographs, scrapbooks, greeting cards, textiles but the label "not artistic" stuck!
10 years ago I resolved to try and overcome this label and took myself along to a watercolour class. I didn't realise how tricky watercolours can be ... but enjoyed the happy accidents of working wet-in-wet which meant my drawing skills weren't the primary focus! And if it isn't perfect? chalk pastels can work wonders on a watercolour under painting ... so here I am playing with this new medium and learning the tools and techniques that bring art online ... thanks to Queeky magic and your work which I can watch taking shape and learn from.
I have decided to upload some of my thousands of photos on my Deviantart account ... it is a waste having them archived away on a hard drive and not looking at them or sharing them ... and I had forgotten the buzz I get from displaying my photographs nicely ...

A tablet?
@Scarclaw11 - Yes I use a pen on a tablet for my drawing here. I do occasionally use the mouse for the bigger details because it gives my hand rest from the pen for when I want to do details
